It is evident beyond a shadow of a doubt that faith over fear was the only way to handle this pandemic and come out on top.

The glory and honour of the Lord have stood the test and come out on top regardless of the attempt by the systems of the world to belittle the power of faith and this realization might be the only reason as to why the governments that chose the route of science are still discriminating against places of worship.

It is evident beyond a shadow of a doubt that faith over fear was the only way to handle this pandemic and come out on top.

These governments have not yet prepared the doubtfully logical excuses they are going to have to give the nation when they open and it's evident beyond a shadow of a doubt that faith over fear was the only way to handle this pandemic and come out on top. As believers, our God has been glorified all over the world, why have we allowed the delay of His glorification in our nation though?

Time and time again as people who choose to identify as “believers,” we have come across portions of scripture that dictate that we are representatives of God on the earth. For instance, John 17:22 where Jesus praying to the Father asked that “I have given them the glory and honour which You have given Me, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected and completed into one, so that the world may know that You sent Me…”  This scripture points us to the fact that as believers we ought to manifest and carry this glory and honour that Jesus required of the disciples and of them that had believed Him.

This choice to simply believe comes with the responsibility to represent the Lord perfectly on the earth and the grace to do so. However, since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have seen total neglect of the places of worship in Uganda and the way “some believers” have chosen to react to this has made us wonder whether we have ever taken this mandate seriously.

We tend to quote scripture like “We are gods” from Psalms 82:6 which is the truth, however, the church continues to be locked down unnecessarily as we have seen in the Covid- 19 presidential addresses. Concerning the recent presidential address, arcades and marketplaces were opened with barely any SOPS to be strictly be followed and monitored yet the places of worship continue to be closed. This makes me wonder, is this how a “god” would react to being disregarded. We have been made to believe that it is okay to pray online and have been given the least logic or justification for churches remaining closed. Unfortunately, most of us have continued to accept this treatment and even support this half-baked explanation of living in fear of a pandemic. The kind of pandemic that seems to be unable to take control when there’s no faith involved but will sweep every soul once there are believers using faith to combat it. To add insult to insult to injury they have high-jacked places of worship with forced medical interventions like vaccinations.

However, the beauty is that the Lord is still on the throne and His word is still true. His healing power and the spirit of faith are still the dominant force and we have had countless testimonies and evidence of its power to combat that which science has chosen to undermine and neglect. This has been seen in nations like Tanzania that right from the inception of this agenda chose to live in faith and have reaped the benefits thereof. These nations have only seen prosperity in a time where the choice to follow science only birthed debt for many nations that have followed the route of science which has proven to increase fear while giving no definite solutions.  This is evidence to the believers to know that the God they have represented is indeed all-powerful and those that have chosen to represent him perfectly have reaped the benefits thereof.
