THANK YOU LORD

THANK YOU LORD

My vitality was rugged

Sought no purpose of it

I came off lost in my own makings

Everyone telling me I am not enough

With nowhere to run to

Nobody to twirl to

Then our stares greeted

With arms wide open

You invited me in

In you, I found my refuge

I saw my true self in your gaze

That's how our alleys crossed

Unawares, it ensued in me

That you've constantly been around

Something I hardly noticed

You formulated me a new

Bestowed me a brand new label

Put me together whole again

I can't thank you enough

But rather I am in adulation of you

Even when I seem to shirk

Father put me to remembrance

Help me never forget the place of my first love

Let your embrace be all I know of

If you may I reside in you pa

Eternally I am gratified for what you've done for me

You saw me a nobody

Gave rise to a somebody

Handed me my purpose

Currently, I live to serve you

Thank you, Lord
