Daniel Magezi : The new normal is not our life
Take time and think about what is happening. Is this the ideal situation for you to live in? Was corona virus brought by God? Has it ever been God’s intention for us to live a life full of restrictions and bondage?

If your response to these questions is no as it ought to be, then the life we ought to live is not the one we are experiencing in the world today.
In the world today, darkness has covered the faces of religious leaders who have suggested and even followed the [scientific] directives spelled out on how to worship [a spiritual]God. Most of these religious leaders are comfortable with all the oppression taking place against the Church and they are hiding in the shadows. I applaud a few who have come out and defended against the oppression as well as, fought for the body of Christ to be heard in this critical time. – a special appreciation to Prophet Elvis Mbonye who has remained vocal and steadfast from the beginning even before this ordeal.
We should remind ourselves about the creation of Adam and Eve. The life they had before their fall. A life full of liberty, peace, hope and love which is our life too but we are not living that life today. It is apparent that we have fallen. We need to ignore what the physical world is presenting before us in this time because as children of God, the ‘new normal' is not our life.
Choose life, the God-kind of life, and ignore what is happening in the nation today- all the fear of opening up churches and schools because of the COVID - 19 situation which has subjected the world to the ‘new era’ of living. The era of wearing masks, social distancing and the washing of hands- measures encouraged by the government in fighting the corona virus which have instead resulted in personal and state benefit mindlessly putting the Children of God in bondage. I urge you to choose life (this more sure way) but the choice is in your hands.
With all this darkness in the camp of the enemy that has seemingly taken over the nation, you need to focus on the authentic voice which has been proven over the years, the more sure way, the way of Prophet Elvis Mbonye - the only hope of this nation. He warned us that this day would come and also told us how to overcome it. Ponder on these things because the time of separation between the children of the light and those in darkness is fast approaching.
